| At the post office! Mailing our Bears to Texas! |
We've mailed 12 HUGE boxes to Texas....thanks to everyone who participated
with aide to Katrina victims! :o)
Current Tara's Teddy donations go toward our projects to assist at-risk children
in Charlotte, NC. Some of these programs include Christmas Stocking Project,
Valentine's for Senior Citizens, Teddy Bear Drives, School Supply drives &
Easter Basket Drives. Tara's Teddy Bears does some of it's community service
in conjunction with other groups, because we like to encourage others to
become active in community service! :o)
We have received thank you letters from St. Vincent de Paul (TX) & from The
YMCA of Greater Charlotte.
In 2006 Tara Nicole was awarded the National Corlin National Community
Service award for co-creating her foundation, Tara's Teddys & also for her
other extensive community service in other areas.

| Valentine's for Seniors! Miss American Royalty Statesville Preliminary contestant's made the Valentines & my brother & I handed them out to Seniors at a local retirement home. For some of the Seniors, this was the only Valentine they received. Thank you SO much for those who helped on this special project! |
